Don Nippard joins Sidus Data as Director, Business Development

Annapolis, MD (October, 2009) – Sidus Data, leading provider of Managed Hosting and Web Design, today announced that Don Nippard has joined the company as Director, Business Development. He is responsible for developing and implementing client-specific solutions for companies seeking to outsource their managed hosting needs.

Don joins Sidus from CPSI where he served as Business Development Manager. Prior to that, he spent 7 years as Director of Business Development for Performance Technology Group (PTG) where he sold IT infrastructure consulting and managed IT services collocation and disaster recovery solutions. Don was also responsible for commercial sales as well as state and local government. Key accounts included McCormick and American Radiology Services. In addition, the State of Maryland's Network Maryland Technical Support contract was also awarded to PTG during Don's tenure.

Don's background also includes experience in telecommunications. After successful experiences with Sprint, MCI and WinStar, Don was instrumental in launching the commercial as well as State and Local government data services sales effort for Comcast Business Communications, a subsidiary of Comcast Cable, in the Baltimore/Washington metro market.

Don is a graduate of the University of Baltimore with a Political Science degree. He also completed the University of Virginia's Darden School Executive Education Strategic Sales Management program. He is an avid golfer and accomplished cyclist having completed two amateur Tour de France mountain stage races and the 300 km Vatternrundan held annually in Sweden. Don is a resident of Severna Park, Maryland.
